It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Barnhart Mitchell (Clyde, North Carolina), who passed away on December 17, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Barnhart and Mayme Barnhart; and her brothers, Carroll and Ralph Barnhart. She is survived by: her husband Clyde H. Mitchell; her son Alan Mitchell; her granddaughters, Melissa Mitchell Pryor (Billy) and Heather Mitchell Scott (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Audrey Pryor, Sara, Jordyn and Aiden Scott.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405.
