She was predeceased by: her parents, James Allen and Mary Louise Lopez Allen; her half-brother J. H. Allen, Jr.; and her granddaughter Danielle Ashe. She is survived by: her children, Dana Ashe, Cristy Forrest and Stephen Forrest (Magdelana); and her sister Mary Jean Torda (Steve). She is also survived by two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
