She is survived by: her husband John N. Powell (Sam); her son Sammie Powell; her grandson Tate Powell; her siblings-in-law, Pat Powell, Gail Powell and Joan Ensley; and her friends, Sam Powell and Judy Plemmons. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
