He is survived by: his parents, Kip Wilke and Dolly Wilke of Sylva; his children, Cody Malamphy of Castle Rock and Heather Cochran of Williston; his nieces, Brandi Sloop (Joseph) of Sylva and Saira Bartlett of Asheville; his great-niece Cora Sloop; and his great-nephew Maverick Bartlett. He is also survived by other siblings and relatives.
