He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Blanton and Margaret "French" Price Blanton; and his sister Marie Blanton Belt. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Armstrong Blanton; his children, Robyn Blanton Owens (DG Owens), David Lee Blanton and Stephen Lloyd Blanton (Spring McKenzie); and his grandchildren, Wyatt Emerson Owens and Freya Elizabeth Owens.
