He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Shuler and Dorothy Parker Shuler; and his sister Louise Brown. He is survived by: his wife Pansy Loretha Shuler; his sons, Mike Shuler (Susan) of Clyde, Jon Shuler of Waynesville and Wally Shuler (Kim) of Waynesville; his grandchildren, Jenna Shuler, Michael Shuler, Josh Shuler, Miranda Hopper (Frank), Elaina Shuler, Addie Shuler and Macy Shuler; and his great grandchildren, Hunter Hopper, Kinsley Hopper, Hayley Hopper and Mia Shuler.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in honor of David Shuler to the cemetery fund at Sugar Creek Baptist Church 40 Sugar Creek Rd, Cullowhee, NC 28723.
