He is survived by: his children, Beatrice Mashburn of Clyde, NC, Ruby Lynch of Raleigh, NC, Mary Schmidt of Waynesville, NC and Roger Dale Walker of Seneca, SC; his stepsons, Wallace Matheson (Claudia) of Marble, NC and Lowell Matheson (Melinda) of Maynardville, TN; his sister Virginia Walker of Canton, NC; and the mother of his children Hester Stiles Green of Asheville, NC.. He is also survived by Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, step great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
