Cleo Leatherwood Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2021, at the age of 91, Cleo Leatherwood of Clyde, North Carolina, born in Macon, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cleo Leatherwood to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Buchanan and Clara Smith Buchanan; her former husband John Edward Spencer; her brother Bruce Buchanan; and her granddaughter Jennifer Spencer.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Leatherwood; her children, Melissa Spencer Peden (Harry) of Florence, Alabama and Richard Steven Spencer (Dottie) of Greer; her sister Lucille Hannah; her sister-in-law Elaine Buchanan Arnold; and her grandchildren, Wesley Tyler Nash, Christa Spencer Tompkins and Bryan Bradley. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
