With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara C. Nelson (Clyde, North Carolina), born in Gallatin, Tennessee, who passed away on December 1, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lee Carter and Anna Louise Tompkins Carter; her brothers, John Lee Carter, Jr., Charles Carter, Jackie Carter and Bobby Dale Carter; and her husband Josef Overhultz.
She is survived by: her grandson David; her sons, Erich Overhultz (Lisa) and David Overhultz; her granddaughters, Janet Overhultz Stierwalt (Nicholas) and Shelby Overhultz; her great grandchildren, James Stierwalt and Jack Stierwalt; her sister Joyce Ann Carter Tinker; her nieces, Joyce Carter, Cathy Tinker, Barbara Tinker Manley, Peggy Tinker Isham, Donna Tinker and Patty Tinker; and her nephew Michael Tinker.
