She was predeceased by: her father Walter Carroll Gibson, Sr.; her aunts and uncles, Raymond Gibson, Ralph Gibson, Mary Howell and Doris Owens; and her grandparents, Wade Gibson, Pearl Gibson, William Owens and Mamie Owens.
She is survived by: her husband Ricky Jones; her stepdaughters, Amelia Jones of Lakeland, FL and Shannetta Jones of Lakeland, FL; her mother Lois Gibson of Canton; her grandchildren, Honesty Bartley, Kentrell Dennis and Anakin Jones; her brother Walter Gibson, Jr.; her wife Brenda Gibson of Canton; her sister Denise Gibson of Asheville; her aunts, Judith Rolle, Alpha Bryant and Chris Gibson; and also Reginald Gibson (Mae) of Hickory. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
