She was predeceased by: her father Harold Brookshire; her grandmother Julia Sluder; her brother Tommy Brookshire; and her son-in-law William Charles "Charlie" Haney. She is survived by: her mother Anita Smith of Buncombe County; her children, Lisa Heatherly Haney (Charlie) of Lake Logan and Martin "Mark" Heatherly (Craig King) of Florida; her siblings, Donald (Vicki), Michael, Harold Brookshire and Linda Redmond (Russell); her grandchildren, Heather, Brandi and Heath; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Angelina Mathis, Gage Heatherly and Jennings Heatherly.
