We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2022, at the age of 88, Barbara Jean Caldwell of Clyde, North Carolina, born in Vermilion, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershel Floyd and Lena Alma Karrick Miller; her husband Earl Hascue Caldwell; her sons, John Earl and David Michael Caldwell; and her siblings, Betty Miller, Floyd, Donald, William and Richard Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Jalm (Terry) of Jupiter, Florida, Cynthia Nichols (Therold) of Clyde, Jean Caldwell of Clyde and Charles "Chuck" Caldwell (Christie) of King George, Virginia; her sister Frances Bond of Tilton, Illinois; her grandchildren, Kristin, Megan Jalm, Cameron, Chandler Caldwell, Kristen and Michael Nichols; and her great grandchild Liam Nichols.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fincher's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2724 Hyder Mountain Road, Clyde, NC 28721.
