She was predeceased by: her parents, Rafael Rodriguez Garcia and Castillo of Santiago, Cuba.; her husband Jake; and her siblings, Robert Rodriguez, Rene Rodriguez, Esteban Rodriguez, Ralph Rodriguez, Rodger Rodriguez, Radame Rodriguez, Raquel Williams and Gladys Zimmerman.
She is survived by: her sons, David James Turlington III (Martha) of Winston Salem, NC and Robert Henry Turlington (Lisa) of Clinton; her stepgrandsons, Phillip Strickland (Danielle) of Salemburg, NC and Forrest Strickland (Laura) of Louisville, KY; and her great grandchildren, Harper, Claire, Pearce, Shepherd and Corrie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as grand nieces and nephews, and even great, great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the First Methodist Church (208 Sampson St, Clinton, NC 28328).
