He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Bubbie" Lemmie Bass and Mary Elizabeth "Lib" Mason Bass; his daughter Amy Leigh Bass; and his sister Mary Beasley. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Diane Small Bass; his mother-in-law Evangeline Small; his siblings-in-law, Sandra Lockamy (J. C.) and Thomas Small; and his close friend Bud King (Lois Ann). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
