Thomas Lantz Lackey Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Lantz Lackey Sr. (Clinton, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hayden and Edna Louise Helms Lackey; his former wife June Johnson Lackey; and his brother Robert Milton Lackey. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Collins Lackey; his sons, Thomas L. Lackey, Jr. and Keith Hayden Lackey (Heather) of Emporia, VA; his granddaughters, Amanda Adams (Matthew), Amber Starks (Everett), Kaylee Lackey, Madison Lackey and Hayden Lackey; and his great grandchildren, Madison Adams, Daisy Adams, Alexis Adams and Wesley Adams.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Creative Ministries (2720 W Main St, Clinton, NC 28328). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Allegiant Church & Creative Ministries, 2720 W. Main Street, Clinton, NC.
