He was predeceased by: his parents, Relma Elwood and Janie Irene Barefoot Fryar; and his siblings, Carolyn Soltow, Hilda Parker, Brenda Fryar and Thomas Elwood Fryar.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lockamy Fryar; his daughter Sharon O'Neal (Alan) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Kelsey Skiles (Shane) and Katelyn O'Neal; and his great grandchild Baylor Skiles.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Serenity Baptist Church (8994 Garland Hwy, Clinton, NC 28328). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
