Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ronald leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Yancey Wheeler Byrd and Kenneth Lee Wheeler; and his sister Patricia Diane Hall. He is survived by: his significant other Marie Royal Wheeler; his daughter Elizabeth Wheeler Jackson (Jason) of Dunn; his grandchildren, Connor Jackson and Bailey Jackson; and his stepsister Sandra Byrd Herring.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel (301 McKoy St, Clinton, NC 28328). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Colonial Heights Church (1140 W Elizabeth St, Clinton, NC 28328).
