He is survived by: his wife Linda Faye Owens; his children, Tim Owens (Tina) of Harrells, NC, Michael Owens Sr. (Zandra) of Fayetteville, NC and Lisa Anderson (Bennie) of Harrisburg, NC; his grandchildren, Jessica, Amanda, Michael Simmons, Mikiela, Zarya, Jayla, Sholanda, Tiana, Isaiah, DaQuan and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Karter, Amir, Jaiden, Josiah, Juh'Ki, Jaidyn, Julian, Azailyah, Adriaunna, Ja'Niyah, Michael III, Tre' and Ayden; his siblings, Alice Holmes, Jean Fryar, Cynthia Owens and Edward; his close friend Glenn Herring; and his goddaughters, Pamela Burris of Charlotte, NC and Tammy Montgomery of Bryans Road, MD.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
