She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Raymond Blackman, Sr. and Dora Lee Johnson Blackman; her husband Rudolph Valentino Best; and her siblings, Charlie William Blackman, Leslie Raymond Blackman II, Althea Madeline Chesnutt, Margaret Elizabeth Gillis, Doris May Blackman and Dora Lee Tyndall.
She is survived by: her sons, Stevie Randall Best (Julie) of Montgomery and L. Duane Best (Tammy) of Holt, Florida.; her sisters, Nellie Ann Honeycutt of Clinton, NC. and Phoebe Annette Blackman of Clinton, NC.; and her friend Kay Gillmore. She is also survived by relatives and special friends.
