He is survived by: his sons, Michael D. Sampson of Clinton, NC and Grantham J. Taylor of Clayton, NC; and his sisters, Hilda Williams of Clinton, NC, Janice Pittman of Clinton, NC, Alecia Ashley of Clinton, NC, Maxcine Sampson of Clinton, NC and Lorraine Marable of Clinton, NC. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Plant Memorial. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Union Star Original FWB Church (305 W Morisey Blvd, Clinton, NC 28328). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (3620 Roseboro Hwy, Clinton, NC 28328).
