She was predeceased by: her mother Mamie Lee Hainey; her husband Terry Corbett; her father Roscoe Brown; her brothers, Carl Hainey, Roscoe, Rubin Bass, Glenn Bass and Alfred Hainey; and her niece Shannon Gardner.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Beatty (Amanda) of Autryville, NC, Angie Beatty Ibrahim (Ahmad) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Fonda Beatty Hawkins (Paul) of Clinton, NC; her stepson Thomas Corbett (Misty); her sisters, Rosie Carter (Charles) of Clinton, NC and Ann Brown of Erwin, NC; and her niece Lisa Pearsall of Clinton, NC. She is also survived by 13 grandkids.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Clinton Family Worship Center (103 Raiford St, Clinton, NC 28328). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Springvale Cemetery.
