With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lillian Herring of Clinton, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lillian left this world on January 8, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the vast expanse of eternity, Lillian shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lillian farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her husband Lafayette Herring; and her daughters, Ro-Honda Herring of Clinton, NC and Tammy Whitted of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Plant Memorial. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church (4442 Bonnetsville Rd, Clinton, NC 28328).
