He is survived by: his mother Peggy Matthis; his daughter Elizabeth Simmons (Glenn Jr.); his stepmother Glenda Goodman of Dunn, NC; his siblings, Kayla Herring of Benson, NC, Adam Goodman of Chandler, NC, Marty Goodman of Clinton, NC, Tammy Sanderson of Jacksonville, NC, Samantha Little of Warsaw, NC, Cindy Brewington of Clinton, NC, Victory Furgson of Newton Grove, NC, Shelby Goodman and Larry Goodman of Fayetteville, NC; and his grandchildren, Braxton Simmons, Glenn Simmons III (Trent), Trevor Simmons and Sara Elisabeth Simmons.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel (1246 Hobbton Hwy, Clinton, NC 28328). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
