He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Worley, Sr. and Lillian Jernigan Worley. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Jolitz Worley; his children, Barbara Louise Worley of Belmont, N. C. and George William "Bill" Worley, III of Clinton; and his brother Samuel Houston Worley of Raleigh.
