He is survived by: his wife Hilda Johnson Carr; his children, Joe Dabbs of Clinton and Kimberly Townsend (Edward) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Amy Dabbs-Cottle (Brian) of Clinton, Tiffany Townsend of Clinton and Aaron Townsend (Arianna) of Clinton; his great grandchildren, Collin Townsend, Cameron Pope and Chandler Pope; his sisters, Elizabeth Daugherty (Paul) and Dorothy Pigford of Clinton; and his pet Roxie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM and on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM and on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM.
