As Edna departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Edna may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Edna leaves behind.
She is survived by: her children, Serreda King Jenkins of Selma, NC, Kimberly King Sapp of Smithfield, Stanley Dean King, Jr. of Clemmons, NC and Reginald King of Clinton, NC; and her brother Kenneth McFarlin of Ft. Myers, FL. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holly Grove Church of Christ (114 N Mccullen Rd, Clinton, NC 28328). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (3620 Roseboro Hwy, Clinton, NC 28328).
