It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Lynne Wood of Clinton, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Porter and Josephine Strickland Porter; and her sister Debbie Stallings. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Wood; her daughters, Amanda Taylor of Clinton and Holly Jones (Jonathan) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Floyd Taylor, Hailey Taylor and Aaliyah Wood; her great grandchild Korbin Harris; and her brother Sammie Dean Porter.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home (401 W Roseboro St, Roseboro, NC 28382). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
