He was predeceased by: his parents, William Moses Steedly, Sr. and Azlee Harris Steedly; and his siblings, Moses, Frank, Clyde, Margaret, Rebecca, Leatrice and Patricia.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Tyndall Steedly; his daughter Debra McMillan (Randy); his siblings, Sarah Massota of Massachusetts and Robert Steedly of Fayetteville; his grandchildren, Aaron McMillan (Brittney) and Randi Kaye Honeycutt (Zack); and his great grandchildren, Emery McMillan, Charlee McMillan and Costner Honeycutt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Epworth Methodist Church (5876 Garland Hwy, Clinton, NC 28328). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
