She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennett Langdon and Letha Caroline Brewer; her husband Clete Sumner; her children, Glenice (Brad), Barbara (Glenn) and Jesse (Marsha); her grandchildren, Wayne (Kristen), Ashley, Joe (Rachel), Shaun (Casey), Elizabeth and Emily; her great grandchildren, William, Addie Hollowell, Bradleigh Kate Webster and Townes Hollowell; and her siblings, Grover Brewer, Bobby Brewer and Marie Humphrey.
She is survived by: her brothers, Fulton Brewer (Pat) and JImmy Brewer; and her siblings-in-law, Linda Clifton and Kenneth Sumner (Rita).
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Epworth United Methodist Church (5876 Garland Hwy, Clinton, NC 28328). A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at the same location.
