In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Carol leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Carol may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Medows and Mildred Medows (Carpenter) of Omar; her son Billy Ray Barefoot, Jr.; and her siblings, Nelda Hammons (Bill), Bob Meadows (Yvonne), Jack Meadows (Mary), Johnny Meadows and Bo Meadows.
She is survived by: her siblings, Barbara Meadows of Omar, WV and Arnold Meadows (Debra); and her sisters-in-law, Laura of Florida and Edith. She is also survived by many cousins, extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Clinton City Cemetery (103 Raiford St, Clinton, NC 28328).
