She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Davis and Luna Jackson Davis; her husband Charles Marion Butler, Jr.; and her son John William "Little Willie" Weeks, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Butler Sabourin of Clinton, Charles Marion Butler, III (Sondra) of Clinton, Brenda Butler Mahoney (Sonny) of Harrells, Jenny House Williams of South Carolina and Wanda Sue Tanner (Dale) of Clinton; and her brother Jerry Davis (Ann) of Clinton. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM at the Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church (1414 Odom Rd, Clinton, NC 28328). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Grandview Memorial Park (2809 US-421, Clinton, NC 28328).
