He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Mowery and Martha Reynolds Mowery; his wife Mildred "Margie" Mowery; and his siblings, Martha Jane Graham and Thomas Wayne Mowery.
He is survived by: his children, Trudy Davis (Britt) of Pleasant Garden, Pam Grubbs (Larry) of Climax, David Mowery of Greensboro and Kenny Mowery, Jr. (Myra) of Climax; his grandchildren, Mitch Baysinger, Krystle Baysinger, Derrick Biggs (Megan), Kevin Grubbs (Keshia), Susan Mowery, Christian Mowery, Kenneth Ray, Elana Mowery, Abby, Courtney and Austin; his great grandchildren, Kaylan, Donovan, Jakob, Nolan, Greyson, Harper, Joshua, Henry, Mason and Alice; his siblings, Clyde Eugene Mowery (Mary) of Climax, Lorena Fields of Climax and Elizabeth "Betsy" Lee (Keith) of Fruitland; and his close friend John Taylor.
