She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Earl Padgett and Rosa Lee Mitchell Padgett; her daughter Linda Henson; and her siblings, Lorene Dodson, James, Barney, Clyde, Earl and Emil Padgett.
She is survived by: her spouse Claude Thomas Henson; her children, Janice Hendrix (Jesse) of Cliffside, Kathy Larsen (Don) of Shelby, Tommy Henson (Carol) of Raleigh and Ronnie Henson (Cindy) of Mooresboro; and her grandchildren, Eric Hendrix (Stephanie), Brian Hendrix, Darrel Bostic (Jennie), Charity Larsen, Derick Bostic (Kim), Lisa Landis (Heath), Jason Henson (Amanda), Brad Henson and Elizabeth Hitchcock (Nick).
