He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Helton, Sr. and Ammie Luckadoo Helton; his daughter Candy Helton; and his brothers, Carl Helton, Jr., Donald Helton and Billy Helton.
He is survived by: his sons, Tony Helton (Amy) of Forest City and Robbie Helton (Amy) of Cliffside; his sister Margaret Toney of Winston-Salem; and his grandchildren, Victoria Wantuch, Rachel Mundorf, Anthony Helton, II, Ben Harris, Wyatt Helton and Turner Wantuch.
The family request that memorials be made in his memory to Hospice of The Carolina Foothills, Post Office Box 336, Forest City, North Carolina 28043.
