It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Oliver Moore of Cliffside, North Carolina, born in Loachapoka, Alabama, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Seaf Moore and Johnny Mae Murphy Moore; his wife Bernice Cook Moore; and his siblings, Weldon, Quinton, Preston, Frazier, Wyndell, Talmage Moore and Mildred Darnell.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Joe Moore (Pam Painter) and Kelly Walker (Jeff) of Mooresboro; his grandchildren, Justin Moore (Clayton) of Bostic, Hunter Walker (Tiffani) of Mooresboro, Dillon Moore (Anna) of Mooresboro and Kaitlin Morris (Zachary) of Gaffney; his great grandchildren, Cooper Moore, Adaleigh Moore, Cora Faye Walker, Gracie Walker and Hudson Morris; and his daughter-in-law Angie Pearson (Jerry).
