He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Barber Sr. and Bette Kepley Barber. He is survived by: his brothers, John Barber (Pam) of Salisbury and Alan Barber (Robin) of Cleveland. He is also survived by his three nephews and one niece; and all his great nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Christ Episcopal Church (3430 Old US Hwy 70, Cleveland, NC 27013).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Christ Episcopal Church in Cleveland.
