With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Gale Silliman of Cleveland, North Carolina, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on August 27, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Virginia Gale may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her sister Marjorie Schafer (Victor David Silliman); and her son David Victor Silliman. She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Glenn Silliman and James Allen Silliman; and her husband Dave.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that contributions be sent in Virginia's memory to St. Andrews Covenant Presbyterian Church.
