He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, J. T. and Sallie Watson Steele of Cleveland; his wife Jacqueline Carr Steele; his great-nephews, Danny Miller, Corey Flora (Mercedes) of Irvington, NJ and Darius Flora; his sisters, Dr. Catrelia Steele Hunter of Cleveland, NC, Carolyn Steele Snipes (Archie), N. C., Marsha Steele Knox (Charles), Rachel Steele Hunter (Alonzo) and Dr. Sybil Steele Henderson (John) of Durham, NC; his godchildren, Marie Partee of Salisbury, NC, Eulanda Carr Imes and Jarell Imes of Cleveland, NC; and also, Bryan and Lyrick. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
