She was predeceased by: her parents, Addie Barnett and Joseph Luther Beam; and her siblings, Mattie Sue Lowery, Hubert, Eugene and Jack Beam.
She is survived by: her husband William Glenn Sperling of Waco; her daughters, Jane Sperling Young (Bryan) of Raleigh and Nancy Sperling Parrish of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Glenn Young (Hollan), Meredith Zingraff (Owen), Yates Parrish (Cate) and Joseph Parrish; her brother Wray Beam (Doris); and her sister-in-law Madge Beam. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
