He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Washington Dixon and Nessie Dixon Goodman. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Land (Joey), Kimberly Bowles and Steve Dixon; his grandchildren, Amanda Ebright, Billie Simonson, Crysta Welch, Morgan Latshaw, Cameron Dixon and Jadyn Dixon; his great grandchildren, Cayden Ebright, Jacob Ebright, Elyzabella Simonson and Tobenias Simonson; and his sisters, Betty Mayberry and Martha Blevins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital or to Bethel Baptist Church.
