He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Clinton Guffey, Sr. (JC) and Mary Edith Murray Guffey; and his son Travis Guffey. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Pace Guffey (Wayne); his children, Benny Guffey of Cherryville, Josh Stroupe (Sarah) of Grover and Angel King (Ed) of Shelby; his grandchildren, TJ Guffey, Elizabeth Phipps and Katelynn King; and his great grandchild Alexander Phipps. He is also survived by three sisters.
