With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Billy Blanton (Cleveland, North Carolina), who passed away on March 23, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lawrence Blanton and Vangie Crotts Blanton; his wife Marty Wright Blanton; and his brothers, Bob and Jack Blanton.
He is survived by: his children, Rev. Steven Blanton (Christen) of Hendersonville and Laura Scism (Todd) of Kings Mountain; his grandchildren, Justin Fite, Eli Blanton and Emory Blanton; his great grandchild Dayson Fite; and his siblings, Wayne Blanton of Monroe, Nadine Turner of Kings Mountain, Hazel Harmon (Dale) of Kings Mountain and Betty Huffman of Connelly Springs.
