He is survived by: his siblings, Sylvia Boles of Winston-Salem, Joan Dotson of North Wilkesboro, Robert M Hayes (Patsy) of North Wilkesboro, Jane Brooks (Jerry) of Cleveland, David Hayes of North Wilkesboro and Douglas Hayes (Vivian) of North Wilkesboro; his significant other Theo D Hayes (Lea); his grandchildren, Roy, Gena, Sandra, Erin, Luke, Travis, Maia, Caitlyn and Christina; his brother-in-law Fred Owens of Bethel Springs, Tennessee.; and his niece Donna Wicker.
