He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert Polk and Thelma Givens; his aunt Florence Carrington; and his uncles, Robert and Leonard Givens.
He is survived by: his parents, Elijah Smoot Givens, Sr. and Willette Polk Givens of Cleveland; his daughters, Desirae Culbertson of Cleveland and Mia Givens of Ansonville; his granddaughters, Delilah and Daliyah Sturdivant of Cleveland; his brothers, William Givens, Sr. (Rickeshia) of Salisbury, Dennis Givens of Summerville, SC and Homer Givens of Camden, SC; his grandmother Virgie Polk of Granite Quarry; his nephews, William, Jr. of Salisbury, Malik of Salisbury and Makel Givens of Salisbury; his niece Bailey Givens of Camden, SC; and his friends, Tonya Siler of Burlington and Wanda Davis of Ansonville. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, UPS co-workers and friends.
