She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Jenkins and Odessa Jenkins; her husband Linzie R. Hicks; and her siblings, Margaret Waldrop and Robert Jenkins, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Steve Poston (Beverly) of Matthews, Gloria Helton (Frank) of Boiling Springs and Beth P. Lindemann of Boiling Springs; her sister-in-law Pat Jenkins of Shelby; her grandchildren, Jennifer Helton, Heather Walton (Matt), John Lindemann (Megan), Tiffany Lindemann (Tori) and Stephen Helton (Tori); and her great grandchildren, Knox Walton, Hannah Helton, Georgia Lindemann, Sadie Lindemann, Karis Walton, Kannon Lindemann and Cash Lindemann.
The family has requested that those in attendance wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
