With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlie Edwards of Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Charlie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Charlie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gay Marie Edwards; and his daughter Sharon Edwards. He is survived by: his children, Marty Edwards of Mooresville, NC, Alvin Edwards (Debbie) of Cleveland, NC, Keith Edwards (Sandy) of Cleveland, NC and Karen Edwards of Cleveland, NC.; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Edwards of Mount Ulla, NC. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and many special nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Morning Star Baptist Church Missions in Charlie's memory.
