She was predeceased by: her parents, Winford Parker Taylor and Clyta Anderson Taylor. She is survived by: her husband Ellis "Dickie" Spurling, Jr.; her stepdaughters, Julia Spurling Register (Scott) of Huntersville and Angela Spurling Brooks (Kevin) of Double Shoals; her stepgrandchildren, Collin Register, Mira Register, Avery Brooks and Rhett Brooks; her sister Debbie Taylor; and her children, Casey of North Carolina and Christopher Grumaldy of North Carolina.
