It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velva Ann Ruth Kennedy of Clemmons, North Carolina, who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Ruth and Lucille Hussy Ruth; and her brother Douglas Ruth. She is survived by: her husband Phil; her son Kenneth of Clemmons; her grandson Dylan; and her sister Anita Olive of Covington. She is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
