With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Clifford Starling Jr. of Clemmons, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 60. As we bid Thomas Clifford farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Thomas Clifford is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Clifford Starling, Sr. and Carol Sue Everhart Starling; and his father-in-law Bill Scott. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Scott Starling; his mother-in-law Sheila Scott; his niece Ashlyn Creech; his nephew Jaxson Creech; and his brother-in-law Kermit Creech.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Ivy Green Baptist Church (818 Old Lowgap Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
