She was predeceased by: her father Brady Joyce; her husband Leon Clifton Chappell; her grandson Joseph Casey; and her sister Betty Petticord. She is survived by: her daughter Pam Casey (Greg); her granddaughter Lauren Sollenberger (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Elsa Casey, Cora Casey and Helena Casey; and her siblings, Bill Joyce and Eva Beeson.
